Although insurance imposes a
minimum age requirement, families with smaller children
(or any adult who prefers not to ride) can still enjoy
the Segway experience together. Our "SegShaw"
pictured here can accommodate two younger children or
one adult. The maximum weight capacity is 250 lbs.
The SegShaw is pulled by a Segway that is ridden by a trained
staff member. It includes a seat belt and safety flag and
each occupant must wear a helmet.
A toddler cart (pictured below) is also available for younger
children. It includes a seat belt and safety flag and
its occupant must wear a helmet. The toddler cart can
accommodate one child with a maximum weight of 100 lbs.
If accompanied by two full-fare adults, each occupant
of the SegShaw or toddler cart pay half price. However,
use of this equipment requires a reservation.
SegTours, LLC reserves the right to deny the use of the
SegShaw or toddler cart to individuals who, in the opinion
of staff members, present a safety concern of any kind.
